CANDELA White oak (39/36 x 13.5 cm).
My mom is a lawyer and one of her client mentioned that she has an oak tree laying on her property. The tree was felled by a storm just few weeks ago and when my mom mentioned what I do for a living she immediately offered the wood if I would be interested. So when I went to visit my parents the following month I took my new chainsaw with me and tested it on this tree. The wood has some amazing character to it. When this bowl was dried I scorched it and then wire brushed it.

Moje máma je právnička a když jedna z jejich klientek zmínila, že jí před několika týdny bouřka vyvrátila na pozemku dub, tak máma pohotově zmínila čím se živím a paní mi nabídla dřevo k soustružení. No není nad to mít dobré konexe . Když jsem asi za měsíc jel navštívit rodiče, vzal jsem si sebou novou pilu, abych jí na dubu otestoval. Když byla mísa doschlá, ožehl jsem ji a následně vykartáčoval.
